Sharer Hub

The key to a fantastic experience at IBTM World? Making sure your target audience notices you before the show, whilst they plan who to meet at the event.

So how can you ensure you're on their "must-meet" list? As a sharer, it can be challenging to get noticed by your target audience, so we've created tools to make it easier for you to stand out.

Use the Sharer Hub to discover the benefits of actively promoting your brand ahead of the event, plan your promotional strategy for IBTM World and explore best practices to get the results you want.

1. Confirm your IBTM World Barcelona attendance

Visitors and buyers use the show’s website when planning who they want to meet at IBTM World Barcelona, but you’ll only be able to promote yourself on the website once you’ve been confirmed as an exhibitor.

We recommend you discuss exhibiting at IBTM World with your main stand holder and get them to register you as a sharer as soon as possible.

Once you’re registered, you can then create your Exhibitor Profile on the Exhibitor Portal to promote your products and services.

2. Fill in your Exhibitor Directory Listing

IBTM World Barcelona’s website is the first tool visitors use to plan their show itinerary – and incomplete information is the number one cause of frustration for them.

Don’t be that company – showcase your products, add videos and documents in your Exhibitor Profile.

Increase your chances of getting the conversation going with visitors ahead of the event and securing more appointments on the show floor.

3. Upgrade to a premium package

100% of Hosted Buyers use IBTM World Barcelona’s exhibitor directory when researching and planning who they want to meet at the show.

Our Premium Directory upgrade ensures your content stands out, resulting in 2 times as many profile views and 13 times more product views, as well as increased pre-show leads.

There are multiple upgrades available so take a look and choose the one best for your brand.

4. Mention @IBTMevents and #IBTMWorld

This simple step can help you significantly increase your reach: our visitors and buyers check the social media pages regularly in the lead up to the show, and #IBTMWorld usually trends during the event.

Also, our dedicated marketing team re-shares the best submissions, pushing it to our large, well-engaged audiences on your behalf.

5. Share your content with our PR team

From features in our in-house news outlets to our contacts with national and worldwide media, there are many ways we can help you gain coverage for your content.

Make sure you take advantage of the numerous press & PR opportunities available to help you get noticed by the global media – and then the world.

6. Increase brand recognition with remarketing

Research shows that the average person needs to see a brand 6 times before they start recognising and engaging with it.

By displaying banners around the web, remarketing exposes your target audience to your brand so when they get to IBTM World Barcelona, they remember you and are ready to engage.

7. Stop visitors in their tracks

Got a promotional video or advert that you want to screen to visitors and hosted buyers? Get it featured every hour on 12 screens over 3 days in high traffic locations across the show floor.

We will work together to ensure your video attracts the attention of key decision makers as they walk the floor.

8. Involve your network

Nurturing your relationships with customers is key, so reconnect with your existing customers and invite them to visit you at the show.

Let them know you’re attending in a variety of ways: send them an email, promote in your email signature, or engage on social media – you’re even welcome to use the IBTM branding to do so!

9. Use the Exhibitor Checklist

We’ll help guide you step-by-step through the exhibiting process, from getting your profile ready to preparing your stand onsite in Barcelona.

Keep up to date with the latest deadlines and free opportunities available to you, as well as the key details you need to know about the show before you arrive.
