A third of all food manufactured for human consumption goes to waste each year, yet despite this, over a third of event organisers are worried about not having enough food for their delegates.

This session will explore real, practical solutions to tackle food waste in the events industry – from effective planning of event catering to practical solutions for re-distributing excess food.

As someone who is still learning about sustainability, Julia will share her journey of discovery. She will be combining advice from leading experts with her own experiences as a hands-on international event organiser; from not knowing, to understanding, to delivering.
