  • Logging in to the App

    1. How do I login or create an account in the app?

    Please log in using your exhibitor email and password. This year each exhibitor badge holder would have received an email inviting them to set their password.

    2. What do I do if I have forgotten my password?

    Please use this link to reset your password.

  • Diaries

    1. Why can’t I access my diary?

    The diary function will be available from Friday November 24th. You won’t have access until this date.

    2. How do I view my meetings and appointments in my diary?

    • Login to the app and select the Diary icon
    • If your company has more than one diary, select the diary you want to see from the drop down menu
    • Select the meeting from the list to view more details
    • You can contact visitors and hosted buyers within the messaging feature

    3. How do I report that a buyer has not attended a meeting and why should I do so?

    On the meeting page in the app diary there is a button to report a ‘No Show.’ This button is only activated 15 minutes after the meeting begins.

    When a No show is reported a notification is sent to the buyer advising they have missed a meeting and should rearrange with the exhibitor.

    We will receive an hourly report of all hosted buyers that have missed meetings, and will contact those buyers to ask them to rearrange.

    If a buyer does re-arrange the meeting, you can withdraw your No Show report using the same ‘No show’ button in the app.

    4. Why should I rate and comment on my meeting?

    In the meeting detail screen we ask both the buyers and the exhibitors to rate the quality of their meeting and to add any comments to this. This helps us improve our matching algorithms and provide a better service to buyers and sellers.

  • Lead scanning

    1. Who can access the badge scanning feature?

    Exhibitors and Hosted Buyers

    • Badge Scanning is available for Exhibitors and, new for 2018, Hosted Buyers. Encourage buyers to scan you so they have your contact details stored.
    • Each exhibiting delegate badge holder and each hosted buyer will get a single license to the on Lead Scanner

    2. Can I set up lead scoring?

    Before you start scanning you can create categories / qualifiers e.g. Hot lead, Hosted Buyer, or create your own ratings. You can then apply these categories to your scans. Touch on ‘Categories Lead’ then add as many as you want or need.

    3. Can I add notes?

    Yes, there are four separate fields for notes.

    4. How do I scan a badge?

    • Touch on ‘Scan’ to launch the scanner
    • Scan the Barcode, and then enrich the data with your own comments / notes and your categories / qualifiers.
    • View your leads in the “leads section.” You can sort them by scan date or alphabetically.

    5. How do I get my leads off my phone and back my business systems?

    You can export your leads to CSV format and email to the address of your choosing

    iOS Users

    • Select Export
    • You will now see your leads in a spreadsheet format
    • Click on the iphone share icon
    • Email or Save to web based cloud services

    Android Users

    • Select Export
    • Select format
    • Email or Save to web based cloud services

    All users will receive a CSV file after the show containing their lead scans

    6. Do I need internet access?

    The badge scanner will work without the internet but in order to pull in the user’s details and to push back your scans to the server it will need to connect to the Internet.

    Data is stored locally on the mobile device so should you lose a connection you will not lose any data.

    Free WIFI is available throughout the venue.

    7. I don’t want to use a mobile device. Can I use a traditional handheld scanner?

    Traditional handheld scanners are available to rent through our registration partner Livebuzz.

    8. Why is only the badge number appearing in the app, not the contact details of the person I’ve scanned?

    There are a number of reasons this might happen.

    • You are not connected to the internet – Contact details will be populated at a later date
    • The visitor has registered on site and the contact details are not on the platform yet – Contact details will be populated at a later date
    • You do not have permission to scan the participants badge type – Some participants cannot be scanned e.g VIP speaker
  • Other app features

    1. Can I search visitors and buyers and send them messages in the app?

    You can contact trade visitors and hosted buyers who have downloaded the app in the “Make Connections” section.

    2. Why is my logo not appearing on the floorplan?

    Only main stand holder logos display on the floorplan.

    If you’re a main stand holder and your logo is not displaying, your logo may have been uploaded to the exhibitor portal in an incorrect format. Please re-upload the logo as a PNG or a Jpeg.
