2020 Knowledge Programme

  • Education, personal growth and peer-to-peer discussion are essential components to the IBTM World experience. We are preparing our IBTM Knowledge Programme to provide you with world-class insights from industry experts at IBTM World 2020. Here you can find all the latest updates on our 2020 Knowledge offering, including information about our keynote speakers, the themes for our IBTM Knowledge Programme, and new additions to our programme, such as the Inspire Theatre.

  • IBTM World welcomes its first keynote speaker for 2020 – Pancho Campo

Our first keynote speaker, Pancho Campo, has many strings to his bow and all the experience that comes with it. After retiring from professional tennis in 1995, Pancho opened an events management agency, Chrand Marketing & Events, which has been operating ever since with the goal of organising and promoting sporting events, concerts, and summits.

Pancho has produced world-class conferences with leaders such as US President Barack Obama, Vice-President Al Gore, and United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan.

As the creator of several international conferences on climate change, and the new Climate Change Leadership summit, Pancho was trained by Vice-President Gore and has worked with him on several occasions.

Due to the pandemic and the lockdown, Pancho and his company developed a series of online conferences and the very successful Marbella Futuro 2020, one of the first online summits gathering 61 speakers, including sports and music celebrities, CEOs, world leaders and Nobel laureates to talk about the economy, society and the environment under Covid-19.

    Pancho Campo’s keynote session

As an accomplished public speaker, and with his experience of working with high-profile speakers, Pancho is well-placed to deliver his keynote speech on “The future of events: Lessons learned from working with Barack Obama”. Attend Pancho’s keynote to discover:

    1) An in depth analysis of the running of an event with high profile attendees

    2) Practical solutions to overcome the unique challenges faced with this type of event and how event organisers can adapt in a COVID-19 world

    3) Insight into running events of the future: How to run a high-profile event in a hybrid format and make it profitable

    Meet Pancho Campo
