Log onto the Exhibitor Portal and upload as much company information as possible, assign your geographical regions and select your product/service categories. This will ensure Hosted Buyers can find you in the Exhibitor Directory and select you as a preference.
  2. Stand sharer benefits - if you’re sharing your stand with other companies, register your Stand Sharers in the Exhibitor Portal so they can also receive the full benefits of exhibiting at the show and be seen by Hosted Buyers when they start making their appointment preferences.
  3. Spread the word - share your news with our PR agency, Cut Communications, and tell your contacts you’ll be at the show. Complete our PR questionnaire or click here to read top press conference tips.

  8. Organise your stand - check the Operations Manual in the Exhibitor Portal for information on stand build regulations, ordering furniture, internet, telephone connections, etc.
  9. Win an award - think of your stand as an extension of your brand by utilising graphics, video, colours, props and staff - you could be in with the chance of winning an award! The ibtm world stand awards highlight the best and most effective exhibitors and their stands. Awards include: Best Stand Design, Best Stand Feature, Best Stand Personnel , Most Effective Use of PR and plenty more.
  10. Your chance to shine - organise an event during Networking Hour. This is the perfect time to catch Hosted Buyers outside of appointments. Make a lasting connection and get planning and promoting your networking event on your stand.

  12. Technology and innovation watch awards - does your company have something innovative to showcase to the industry?   13. Are you a destination? - if you are, you’ll have the opportunity to hold a maximum of 3 Destination Presentations a day to groups of Hosted Buyers. These Hosted Buyers have personally expressed interest in your destination and will most likely place business at your stand via the quality of this presentation. Make sure your speaker is well rehearsed!
  14. Brief your staff - make sure you have the correct team members available for the variety of Hosted Buyer appointments and any meetings with Trade Visitors. Take time to find out about who you are meeting at the show once you receive your diary of appointments and make sure your staff is prepared to do business!
  15. Feedback - report the quality and relevance of the buyers you meet using the Appointment Rating Tool available in the Exhibitor Portal. Tell us what you thought with the post show surveys.
