Consumers, corporates, governments and the events industry is changing and increasingly adopting sustainability as a purchase criteria and way of life and business. 78% of consumers want companies to address important social justice issues. 87% will purchase a product because a company advocated for an issue they cared about and 76% will refuse to purchase a company’s products or services upon learning it supported an issue contrary to their beliefs (Cone 2017). It’s time that we radically upgrade our initiatives to make events leave a positive social and environmental impact. It’s time we aligned with the brand commitments of the organiser, and it’s time we aligned with the values of the delegates. In this dynamic, unique and fun session, Guy Bigwood and Sam will use presentation, music, and song writing to share cool ideas and practical solutions to help you make your event better, more fun and more engaging.
