How well you understand other cultures is the primary success factor when doing business internationally. With people travelling across borders constantly, and business interests dependent on foreign markets, the intercultural professional is critical to the success of their organization. Working internationally seems easy in the beginning. A fax (do they still exist?), email address and a website, and you're off! However, in practice things can turn out rather differently. Chris will explain how to use cultural differences to your advantage rather than as a hindrance.
