The Balearic Islands (Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza & Formentera) are the perfect destination for all kinds of conventions or business meetings. Their climate and location, just a two-hour plane ride from the most important cities in Europe, are their main attractions, but the islands also have much more to offer when successfully hosting all kinds of meetings. The Balearic Islands have fantastic infrastructures and a range of hotels and related services that are a first-rate incentive for companies and large corporations all over the world. In fact, the annual meeting and convention market on the Balearic Islands includes more than 180,000 people per year, 90.1% on Mallorca, 5.1% on Ibiza and 4.8% on Menorca. Along with the Palace of Congresses of Ibiza, Palma de Mallorca has already a new Palace of Congresses which boost the islands’ capacity for this tourism product. All of this will help the Balearic Islands fully enter the market of large international conventions and congresses. The islands also have numerous convention centres such as the Auditorium of Palma, Pueblo Español in Palma, auditoriums in Alcúdia and Sa Mániga (Cala Millor), the Meliá Victoria and the Mahón trade fair grounds, all of them perfectly prepared for organising and welcoming convention participants. And to relax, the islands host a variety of activities like golf, sailing, hiking, bicycle tourism, spas and wellness, cultural activities or simply getting away from it all on one of their beaches.
